Conference Sales Manager

Sodexo is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join our sales team. This Sales Manager will focus their efforts to grow the conferencing program at High Country Conference Center in Flagstaff, AZ


Key responsibility:

  • Sales Manager will be responsible for securing new business to meet/exceed sales goal of 1.5MIL and profitability goals for the department
  • Will be responsible for generating leads, for SMERF, Corp and Healthcare, following up, and ultimately booking the sale 
  • Developing strong interpersonal skills and forging deep relationships with current and potential clients are critical to success

You have/are experienced in:  

  • Knowledge of writing proposals, initiating and prospecting new sales, strong interpersonal, writing and communication skills, excellent organization and time management skills
  • Direct prior experience in space & catering sales
  • Managing client relationships, developing and maintaining an aggressive marketing plan, building deep relationships within the community 
  • Ability to establish, execute and exceed sales goals
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and a high degree of accountability
  • Working with clients to ensure that every meeting or event is flawless, with no detail left to chance

Directs internal and external sales and marketing at a client account. Manages and directs Unit Sales Representatives to meet sales and revenue objectives. Develops and implements sales strategies. May actively book or manage select clients. Researches and analyzes market trends.



Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree 

Basic Management Experience - 3 years

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years of experience in sales or marketing
