Director, Conference Centers Sales

Sodexo Conferencing is growing!


We are seeking to bring an experienced Director of Conference Center Sales to join our team at the San Ramon Conference Center in San Ramon, CA. The San Ramon Valley Conference Center provides a dedicated learning environment for training, meetings, and business needs such as interviews and orientations. 


Key responsibility:

  • Leading the sales and marketing efforts for the conferencing program by developing budgets, executing plans to meet and exceed established goals, managing client relationships, developing and maintaining an aggressive marketing plan, building deep relationships within the community along with leading and developing the sales and planning team

You have/are experienced in: 

  • Direct prior experience in space and catering sales, excellent organizational skills, an entrepreneurial spirit and a high degree of accountability.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and forging deep relationships with current internal and potential external clients are critical to success
  • Ability to establish, execute and exceed goals, positive leadership and developing a strong team will also be vital to success


The San Ramon Conference Center provides an environment that encourages productive meetings in a comfortable, creative, healthy, environmentally-conscious and rejuvenating environment. With over 40 meeting rooms and 119 overnight lodging rooms this internally owned facility provides opportunities for both internal and external use.

  • Creates a sales plan and develops sales leads for new and repeat business
  • Develops and coordinates a sales team to achieve sales plan
  • Creates a Marketing strategy to promote the Conference Center brand
  • Works with client or operations on catering events



Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree
Basic Management Experience - 5 years  
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years
